Soooooo, I am going to Oslo, Norway at the end of August. I will be there for a week and then am taking a week off to go explore various parts of the world on that part of the world.

Anyone have suggestions on where I should go? Germany, Poland, etc... I like history, I like hiking, and love the outdoors. I will be packing a carry-on only, so my luggage won't be much.

The best place in the world (obviously no bias) the yorkshire side of the peak district. from an unbias view i'd either say Normandy for history or Cumbria (lake district) for outdoors

I do have to admit, Berlin is a very nice city, i found it a bit pricey though. Although i think thats a problem that all capital cities have
